  • Description: A Mark V Star tank moves away down a slope, its guns firing. Along with two other tanks it advances against dummy trenches. A Medium A Whippet moves away with the coastline visible behind it. King George V stands in Field Marshal's uniform with two other officers beside the cab of the Whippet. The King climbs out of the left side hatch of a Mark V Star. The King on top of a Whippet. Another Whippet moves off showing the royal party behind it. The King inspects American soldiers on a training course at the school, accompanied by British and American officers. Among the officers is Colonel J F C Fuller. The King inspects a Lewis machine gun and other items set out on a table for him, and talks to the soldiers at the school, who wear the distinctive Tank Corps overalls and shoulder flash. The King walks down and past a line of the soldiers, who give three cheers.
